Library Services & Learner Development Services are very pleased to let you know that we've set up a trial of an interactive study skills tool and we need your help to evaluate it.

Trial access is available until 30th November 2019.

What is Skills For Study?

Skills For Study is a resource designed to help students at all levels to develop the study skills needed to succeed. Modules include:

  • Reading & Note-Making
  • Referencing & Understanding Plagiarism
  • Critical Thinking Skills
  • Writing Skills
  • Group-Work & Presentations
  • Confidence With Numbers

Each module is structured in the same way, with a module introduction, diagnostic test, sections of content and then a module assessment. We would always recommend that you complete the diagnostic test first; this will help you to identify your strengths and areas for development so that you can prioritise your time.
