The Library has three month trial access to the JustisOne legal research platform until 12th December 2018.
What is JustisOne?
The JustisOne legal research platform gives you access to the most comprehensive collection of common law cases, alongside advanced legal technology. It indexes content from major legal databases and new data-mining and visualisation tools identify the most relevant cases, most cited paragraphs, and map precedent relationships. This unique combination of content and technology allows you to access more cases, and conduct efficient, exhaustive and thorough legal research. The SourceLink feature allows you to link to 120 other online services for an even wider selection of judgments, making JustisOne the best place to start in your case law research.
What content is included?
JustisOne gives you access to the most comprehensive collection of common law cases, including a large selection of exclusive cases and an extensive collection of legislation:
- 1,200,000 searchable cases
- 26 jurisdictions covered
- 700,000 legislative provisions
- Includes access to Session Cases from 1817
How do I access JustisOne?
Access is available for all Abertay staff and students during the trial period. Just go to: https://app.justis.com/
Click 'sign in' (top right) > Under Academic Sign in: select 'My Institutions Credentials' (link at the bottom of the pop-up) > Select Abertay University & Go to login > login using your Abertay credentials.
